HerbaZone Cranberry Capsules 60’s
URINARY TRACT INFECTION, INCONTINENCE, VITAMIN C SUPPLEMENT
Each capsule contains:
• Cranberry Powder (Vaccinium macrocarpon) 400 mg
• Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) 200 mg
Cranberry plays an important role in preventing and treating urinary tract infections, which are caused by E.coli and other types of bacteria. Cranberry prevents the bacteria from adhering to the interior wall of the urinary tract, by wrapping itself around the organism, thereby preventing colonization and infections.
Cranberry also shortens the duration of urinary tract illness, helping to alleviate pain, burning, itching and other symptoms. Cranberry is safe to take with prescription antibiotics and may even hasten healing. Ascorbic Acid and Cranberry help to acidify the urine, which purifies and deodorizes the urine. This may be of particular benefit to people who are incontinent and suffer from embarrassing odours. In addition, Cranberry’s high vitamin C content in combination with Ascorbic Acid, makes this capsule an excellent natural vitamin supplement.
Dosage: To help treat a urinary tract infection, take 2 capsules twice a day with lots of water. To prevent recurrences once infection is cleared up, take 2 capsules every morning with a glass of water.
Warning: Cranberry is not a substitute for antibiotics during an acute urinary tract or kidney infection. If symptoms like fever, chills, back pain or blood in urine are present, see your healthcare practitioner right away. Persons with a history of kidney stones should avoid Cranberry capsules.
