Muscle Soothing Bath Salt consists of purified, coarse sea salt which is impregnated with the therapeutic essential oil Methyl Salicylate, also known as Wintergreen of Birch Oil. It is obtained from the leaves of Gualtheria and the bark of Betula Lenta. Methyl Salicylate is a derivative of Salicylic Acid, commonly known as aspirin.

As such, it has a powerful analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-itching action, which will relieve aches and pains within minutes, especially post-operatively of after strenuous exercise.

It is also useful to promote circulation and may assist in conditions like varicose veins, chilblains, cold extremities (hands and feet) and hemorrhoids. The vapors released by the wintergreen in the warm bath, may assist in the relief of symptoms associated with upper respiratory tract infections.

It will assist in relieving itching, experienced chicken pox.
