HerbaZone Centella Capsules with Zinc 60’s

Each capsule contains:
• Centella Asiatica 123 mg
• Zinc Amino Acid Chelate (10%) 97 mg
(equivalent to 10 mg of elemental Zinc)
Centella Asiatica is also known as gotu kola or pennywort. It is an unassuming creeping groundcover which grows abundantly in many gardens. The medicinal use of centella has its roots in India, where it has been used for centuries in ayurvedic medicine. Whether taken internally or applied externally, centella has many beneficial effects. The active substances in centella known as triterpenes, enhance the formation of collagen in
bones, cartilage and connective tissue. In addition, they promote healthy blood vessels and help produce neurotransmitters, the chemical messengers in the brain.
By strengthening the cells in the walls of the blood vessels, blood flow is promoted and
improved, which aids the following conditions associated with impaired blood flow:
• Varicose Veins
• Poor mental acuity (including lack of concentration and poor memory.)
• Alzheimer’s disease
• Attention Deficit Disorder
• Diabetes
• Cramps, pins and needles
• Acne
Zinc is an essential mineral with strong anti-oxidant activity, which plays a critical role in hundreds of body processes. Zinc is necessary for proper functioning of the immune system and helps to protect the body against infections, like colds and flu. Note: Though the names sound similar, there is no relationship between gotu kola and the kola nut which is used in cola drinks. The kola nut is a stimulant containing caffeine. Gotu Kola or centella is caffeine free
